$1 million was raised in Poland to buy Bayraktar for Ukraine

As of July 3, 2022, 4.3 million zlotys (about $1 million) have been raised in Poland for the Ukrainian “Bayraktar.” Slawomir Sierakowski, the man behind the “Buy Ukraine ‘Bayraktar'” initiative and a well-known public figure, political scientist, and journalist in Poland, anticipates raising 22.5 million zlotys (more than $5 million) during the next 25 days, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

On the crowdfunding website Zrzutka.pl, more than 40,000 people have transferred money for the purchase of Bayraktar in the five days since the campaign began, making up 20% of the entire amount.
