11 million Ukrainian refugees returned home from EU
About 16 million Ukrainians arrived in the European Union in 2022, and 11 million of them later returned to Ukraine, as stated by European Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson, Ukrinform reports. According to her, 4 million Ukrainian refugees remain on EU territory. Another 1 million went further outside the EU, for example, to Canada, the US, and the UK.
