“143 nations stood on the side of freedom. Only 4 chose to side with Russia.”
U.S. President Joe Biden hails the UN General Assembly vote condemning Russia’s annexations of Ukrainian territories.
“143 nations stood on the side of freedom, sovereignty, and territorial integrity—even more than the 141 nations that voted in March to unequivocally condemn Russia’s war against Ukraine. Only 4 chose to side with Russia—Belarus, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Nicaragua, and Syria,” stated the U.S. President.
He said the vote sent a “clear message” to Moscow. “Russia cannot erase a sovereign state from the map. Russia cannot change borders by force. Russia cannot seize another country’s territory as its own,” noted the U.S. President.
