15-year-old volunteer killed by Russian shelling while evacuating animals from the zoo

During the evacuation of African buffaloes from the Feldman Ecopark in Kharkiv region, a team of staff and volunteers came under fire from the occupiers.

One of the volunteers died. The boy was only 15 years old.

The dead boy helped his parents to feed and evacuate the animals.

“Bright memory of the hero! This is the sixth victim in our team,” the press service of the ecopark wrote.
