167 children died and 297 were injured in Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression

As of the morning of April 7, 2022, the official number of children killed due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation has not changed — 167. The number of injured has increased to more than 297, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine said on Thursday, April 7, 2022.

“These figures are not final, since work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories,” the report says.

According to the data received, the most children suffered in Kyiv region — 86, Donetsk region — 81, Kharkiv region — 73, Chernihiv region — 50, Mykolaiv region — 39, Luhansk region — 32, Zaporizhzhia region — 22, Kherson region — 29, Kyiv city — 16, Sumy region — 16, Zhytomyr region — 15.
