187,900 Ukrainian children study in Polish schools and kindergartens after coming to Poland since February 24, 2022
According to the data provided to PAP by the Ministry of Education and Science of Poland, 187,900 children and youth from Ukraine are studying in Polish schools and kindergartens after moving to Poland since the start of the Russian aggression in February 2022.
Most children who came to Poland after Feb. 24, 2022, study in the Mazovian Voivodeship (Warsaw) — 33,600, Silesian (Katowice) and Lower Silesian (Wroclaw) Voivodeships — 21,000 each. Among cities, the highest number of Ukrainian children study in Warsaw (17,200), Wroclaw (8,500) and Krakow (7,400).
