36,000 people joined an online rally in support of Kherson

In support of the temporarily occupied Kherson, a 36,000-strong online rally was held. Over 36,000 people gathered on Instagram on the virtual version of Kherson Ushakov Avenue in just one week. They all left more than 36,000 comments on the event page with the same message: “Kherson is Ukraine!”

The pro-Kherson campaign also received 75,000 likes and 19,600 reposts. It means that the campaign has reached millions of Ukrainians, including Kherson residents, according to the statement. The rally was organized by the Yellow Ribbon initiative to support Ukrainians under temporary occupation and allow them to protest safely, even during the war. Hence, the meeting location was changed from a physical street to a digital one: meter after meter, with all the buildings, parks, and crossroads.
