434,000 nights have been booked for accommodation in Ukraine by users of Airbnb.org and Airbnb. That’s $15 million going to hosts in Ukraine

On February 28, 2022, Airbnb.org and Airbnb have announced that Airbnb.org would offer free, short-term housing to up to 100,000 refugees fleeing Ukraine. These stays would be funded by Airbnb Inc. donors to the Airbnb.org Refugee Fund, and the generosity of Hosts through Airbnb.org. Anyone interested in opening their homes to support this effort could get involved. One week later, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky announced that users of Airbnb.org and Airbnb booked accommodation in Ukraine for 434,000 nights. As a result, Ukrainian hosts have received 15 million dollars in financial aid.
