5-year-old Ukrainian girl broke country’s record, becoming the youngest volunteer to help the Ukrainian army

The National Register of Records of Ukraine recognized 5-year-old Maria Makeeva from Kryvyi Rih as the youngest volunteer, who collected UAH 35,492 for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with her performance. The girl sang Ukrainian songs in the city of Lviv. She was accompanied on the saxophone by her older brother.
The head of the National Register of Records, Lana Vetrova, announced this on her Facebook page.
“It is impossible to defeat a country where even the smallest children come close to victory…The performance of the little record holder lasted 9 hours and 54 minutes,” said Vetrova.
