73% of parents used the word ‘war’ while talking about the war with their kids

According to the Gradus research company report “Changes in children’s lives during the war,” the majority of parents used the word ‘war’ while talking about the war with their kids.
22% of Ukrainian parents discussed the war using other words or made-up stories or didn’t discuss the war with their children at all.
The main reason why parents did not talk about the war at all or use other words and stories is the attempt to protect the child from emotional shock (32% of respondents).
