75-year-old volunteer from Canada takes care of rescued animals in Kharkiv

Bruce Perry, a 75-year-old volunteer from Canada, takes care of animals brought from the Ukrainian hot spots, the Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine tells his story.

Bruce is a former U.S. military pilot. The man visited Ukraine for the second time since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. At first, Perry helped volunteers to provide support for the Ukrainian military.

Now he helps the non-governmental organization “Animal Rescue Kharkiv.” Every day he walks six or seven dogs.
