82,525 km2 of Ukraine are mined

Preliminary estimates of mined areas in Ukraine are at least 82,525 square kilometers. It is slightly larger than the size of Scotland. The Ukrainian Deminers Association reported that the contaminated area would be subject to humanitarian demining after the war.
