83% of Ukrainian entrepreneurs believe that Ukrainian business is capable of being competitive and successful in European markets

According to Gradus Research, 83% of Ukrainian entrepreneurs believe that Ukrainian business are capable of being competitive and successful in the European markets.
Moreover, 32% of Ukrainian businesses have been or are in the process of being fully or partially relocated according to July 2022 data. Among them 72% were relocated within Ukraine, 11% – abroad, and 17% – within Ukraine and abroad.
Among those having relocated their business abroad, statistics point to EU countries like Poland, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria and Estonia as the preferred location. Owners of relocated businesses consider relocation as an opportunity for business growth and retain confidence that Ukraine will acquire new economic ties with the European Union. Among the advantages seen by Ukrainian business owners in relocating to the EU are large sales markets, transparency of taxation and accounting rules, no customs or quantitative restrictions within the EU and simplified administrative procedures for trade with other EU countries.
It’s important to mention that 73% of Ukrainian businesses work as the same way or partially the same way as they did before the war. Additionally, 79% of Ukrainian business owners plan to invest in improving their organizational resilience.
