900 Ukrainian teachers have volunteered to join Ukraine’s Armed Forces

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Smyhal said that 900 Ukrainian teachers have volunteered to join Ukraine’s Armed Forces to fight against Russia’s invasion since February 24, 2022.

“Although the enemy attacked our land, 3,000 schools were destroyed or damaged, 1,200 are under occupation — the educational process continues because teachers understand the importance of their educational mission. 900 teachers went to the front. This is a great example of serving the people. We are in great debt to you, teachers,” Shmyhal said.
