A documentary about women who left their homes due to full-scale war was released in Ukraine

The documentary film “Faraways,” about Ukrainian women forced to leave their homeland due to a full-scale Russian invasion, was released in Ukraine. The film was created by Ukrainian SLUKH.MEDIA which specializes in modern Ukrainian music and culture, together with video production KNIFE! Films.
“Faraways” is based on personal stories of people who had to leave their homes, searching for shelter and help in various European countries. Women shared their stories about difficult paths and experiences of choice, life in new countries, and the desire to return home.
To make the documentary, the crew traveled more than 13,000 kilometers, interviewing people in Austria, Luxembourg, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
