A free burial coffin in Mariupol can take up to two weeks to arrive

The Russian invaders provide a free coffin for burial in captured Mariupol, but it takes from one to two weeks to arrive, as reported by Petro Andriushchenko, the adviser to the Mariupol mayor.

“In Mariupol, if you follow ‘the procedure,’ the occupiers will give you a free coffin for the burial. It is made of simple wood and is not upholstered. You have to wait from one to two weeks in a list for such a coffin. During this time, the body will be kept in the ‘morgue on the Metro’ located right in the street. In the scorching heat,” Andriushchenko wrote. He observed that the bodies of the deceased ‘disappear’ regularly, so one can get a coffin to bury a person in ten days, but the body has already vanished.
