A mural dedicated to the legendary plane Mriya appeared in Boryspil

A new mural with the legendary Ukrainian aircraft AN-225 Mriya (which means Dream in English) has appeared in Boryspil, Kyiv region. It was the biggest plane in the world. Russians destroyed Mriya in the first days of the full-scale invasion.

The author of the mural is Dmytro Vergeles. He published his artwork on Instagram.

“Hi, my name is Dima. I’m an artist. And I really like airplanes. The AN-225 Mriya is my favorite, and it’s my passion. I’ve had an idea to paint it on a large scale for a long time, and after its destruction at the beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion, I decided not to postpone the implementation for later. This is how this painting was born. My gift to my native city of Boryspil,” Vergeles wrote.
