A new wave of forced mobilization began straight from the streets in the occupated territories of Donbas
Main Department of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that a new wave of forced mobilization began on August 1, 2022, in the territory of ORDLO to equip units of the mobilization reserve. Individuals unfit for service and those with a “deferral” are also subject to mobilization.
As part of the structural motorized rifle units of the 2nd Army Corps (Luhansk) of the Russian occupying forces, new motorized rifle battalions are being formed, and the combat capability of existing motorized rifle battalions is being restored.
In Luhansk, two busloads of men, most of them porters, were taken from the market within 40 minutes. In Alchevsk, men were taken straight from the streets. The population is outraged, and the men are hiding. Total forced mobilization continues in many settlements. Raids continue at enterprises and commercial establishments where men are fit for military service work.
