About 200 bodies of civilians were found when dismantling the rubble of an apartment block in Mariupol — Adviser to the Mariupol Mayor

“When dismantling the rubble of an apartment block on Myru Avenue, about 200 bodies of victims were found in a basement with a high degree of decomposition,” Adviser to the Mariupol Mayor Petro Andriuschchenko informed.

In his words, as locals refused to collect and pack the bodies of the dead, Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry simply left corpses at the scene. As the rubble was partially dismantled, the stench could be felt all over the residential quarter.
