About 30% of the territory of Ukraine was affected by hostilities

About 30% of the territory of Ukraine — over 174,000 square km — was affected by hostilities. Therefore Ukraine is now the most mined state in the world, said First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska during her visit to South Korea. Zelenska stressed that every day Ukrainian sappers and rescuers neutralize the traps left by the Russian aggressor and risk their lives.

“That is why Ukraine urgently needs means for humanitarian demining, technological and as safe as possible for both the sappers and the residents who are forced to live next to the constant danger of explosions,” First Lady of Ukraine Zelenska said.
