About $410 million was collected for the Ukrainian army and humanitarian needs from around the world

About $410 million or an equivalent of UAH 12 billion has been wired into the special accounts the NBU opened to collect money from those wishing to help Ukraine suffering from the Russian invasion, as of March 15, 2022. The larger part of the sum, about $400 million or UAH 11.75 billion, is designated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while the rest of it is intended for humanitarian needs. Money has been coming in from people and businesses in Ukraine and from all over the world, including the U.S., the UK, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Finland, China, France, Canada, and Australia.
