Absolutely critical to help Ukraine in any way we can, that is the best insurance policy against any kind of nuclear blackmail
Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics called on to increase help to Ukraine despite Putin’s nuclear blackmail.
“Nobody’s pushing Vladimir Putin into a corner, but Vladimir Putin himself, he started this war, he started back then, in 2014, actually, not 2022. Ukrainians are fighting and defending. If we give into nuclear blackmailing, then it will continue. And I think it’s absolutely critical to help Ukraine in any way we can. That is our best insurance policy against any kind of nuclear weapons [blackmail],” Rinkevics told DW.
