Actress Dame Emma Thompson read a poem by Taras Shevchenko during a rally in support of Ukraine
The legendary British actress — Dame Emma Thompson — read a translation of Taras Shevchenko’s poem “Sontse zakhodyt, hory chorniiut / The sun sets, dark the mountains become” during a rally in support of Ukraine in London.
The rally was organized by London’s mayor Sadiq Khan. Thousands of people came.
