Aftermath of Russian drone attack on Kyiv

Five people have been injured in Kyiv after Russian launch of dozens of drones on the Kyiv region on the night of May 8.
Despite the fact that all the drones were shot down by the Ukrainian Air Force, their debris damaged residential buildings, cars, and the runway of Kyiv’s airport.

“Even a 100% intercept rate on air targets does not guarantee safety in areas where the air defense is operating! Fragments of anti-aircraft missiles and damaged UAVs always come back down to earth!” Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warns.
