Almost 13,000 Ukrainians were evacuated on March 12, 2022, twice as much as the day before
On March 12, 2022, Ukrainian authorities managed to evacuate almost 13,000 Ukrainians from the war zone through humanitarian corridors. Around 8,000 people were evacuated from the city of Sumy alone. Fourteen corridors were planned, nine of them worked out.
