Almost $19 million was collected for the Army of Drones

Almost $19 million or UAH 755 million have already been collected for the “Army of Drones” project, the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reported. By collecting money, the Ukrainian government and General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine want to purchase hundreds of drones for the army.

According to Mykhailo Fedorov, the most popular donor countries are the USA, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Australia, and Israel. Fedorov says that the project also plans to increase the number of schools for pilots and organize pilot training: 400 operators have already been trained.

The first control complex and four Fly Eye reconnaissance drones have already arrived in Ukraine.
