Almost 3,800 female officers serve in Ukrainian Ground Forces

Almost 3,800 female officers are serving in the Ukrainian Ground Forces, stated Gender Advisor to the Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Oksana Hryhorieva. According to her, the number of servicewomen in the Ukrainian Ground Forces has increased over the past year. Many of them hold senior positions. “The women who are now in the army are strong, motivated, fearless; they voluntarily went to defend their homeland,” added Hryhorieva.
