Almost 43,000 newborns registered in Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion

Since the beginning of the large-scale Russian invasion, almost 43,000 newborns have been registered across Ukraine. That is according to the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

“Over the 78 days of a large-scale war in Ukraine, almost 43,000 newborns were registered,” the statement said.

In total: 42,723 newborns were registered from February 24, 2022, to May 12, 2022.
