Almost 70 vessels have been blocked in the seaports of Ukraine. Six foreign-flagged ships in Mariupol

Almost 70 vessels stand blocked in the seaports of Ukraine, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Yurii Vaskov and Director of the state-owned enterprise Mariupol Merchandise Maritime Port Ihor Barskyi said.

“The situation with the crews was the worst in Mariupol since in other ports the crews were able to evacuate by land,” Vaskov said.

According to Barskyi, six foreign-flagged ships remain in the port of Mariupol, which are still blocked there, while some will no longer be able to leave it without appropriate repairs by the shipyard. However, the Mariupol shipyard itself was also practically destroyed.

“Now, we are collecting all possible information about the enterprise, about port workers, 1,660 people out of 3,000 responded. We also have information about 23 dead employees of the enterprise,” Barskyi said.
