“Amnesty’s behavior is not about finding and telling the world the truth — it’s about creating a false balance between the perpetrator and the victim”
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba criticized Amnesty International latest report about the Ukrainian military supposedly endangering civilians by locating forces in resideourcential areas.
“I consider Amnesty International’s statement unfair. I understand that in response to criticism Amnesty International will say that ‘we criticize both sides of the conflict.’ But it is not about finding and telling the world the truth — it’s about creating a false balance between the perpetrator and the victim,” Kuleba said.
According to Dmytro Kuleba, it is Russia that destroys the civilian population by the thousands and destroys cities and territories when Ukrainian defenders are trying to protect the country and the continent from the invasion.
“So please stop creating a false reality where everyone is guilty of something. Start telling the truth about what Russia is today,” Kuleba stressed.
