Animal Help Ukraine: Veterinarians from the United States will provide free advice to Ukrainian pet owners

American Galaxy Vets developed by Kharkiv resident Ivan Zakharenkov has launched a telemedicine platform to help animal owners in Ukraine. As a part of the Animal Help Ukraine project, veterinarians from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other countries will provide free online consultations to Ukrainian pet owners.

Ukrainians will be able to consult with experts on any issues related to a pet’s health or care for a found animal, in particular: how to find alternatives to usual food in wartime, how to reduce anxiety and stress during explosions, how to save the animal in extreme conditions, what to do in the absence of necessary medication and what “human” equivalents can be used to treat animals.
