Another big prisoner exchange: Ukraine returns 50 defenders from Russian captivity

Ukraine returned another 50 defenders from Russian captivity on December 1, 2022, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, reported on Telegram.

“We are returning the defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal, we are returning prisoners who were in Olenivka, and the wounded, in particular, in battles on the territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions,” stated the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

As Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported, the youngest of the released Ukrainian defenders turned 19, and the oldest is 59.
