“Army of Drones” initiative received the first drones

“Only on Friday [July 1, 2022], together with the General Staff and UNITED24, we announced the Drone Army and asked you to ‘dRonate,’ that is, to hand over your drone to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and already on Saturday, you sent us the first ‘birds’ through the New Post office. Thank you to everyone! Soon all drones will go to the front and help our defenders,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.

As previously mentioned, the “Drone Army” concept was officially announced on July 1, 2022, by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and the UNITED24 platform. The systematic acquisition of drones, their maintenance, and operational replacement, as well as a pilot training program, are all included in this comprehensive program.
