Artists from Kherson presented their artworks saved from occupation at the exhibition in Sweden
An exhibition of the art community from the city of Kherson, now temporarily occupied by Russia, opened in Sweden, Suspilne reports.
One of the participants, artist Sergey Serko, told Suspilne that the concept was to show fragments of a happy life before the war and tell about the present, which is why the exhibition was called “The Fragments.”
“Our mission as artists is to preserve and broadcast Ukrainian culture, as well as to glorify our Kherson lands. That is why we have the opportunity to show the Swedes our ruins that we managed to take with us,” says Sergey Serko.
