As gratitude for Polish hospitality, Ukrainians cleaned a forest park in Gdańsk

Over 40 people, mainly young women from Ukraine accompanied by their children, decided to repay the help they received in Polish Gdańsk in recent weeks. On April 2, 2022, they cleaned the area of ​​the forest park at ul. Jaśkowa Dolina, reported Alan Aleksandrowicz, Deputy Mayor of Gdańsk on LinkedIn.

The idea to thank the Polish people for their kindness in this way was born in Suwałki, where at the end of March 2022, war refugees staying in the city decided to clean up the local park and boulevards. Similar actions are planned by Ukrainians in other Polish cities as well.
