At least 200 graves have been found in burial sites in Lyman, investigation continues

Two burial sites, including one mass grave and another that contains the remains of about 200 people, have been discovered in the city of Lyman, Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, reported.

“In Lyman and Sviatohirsk, the exhumation and reburial of those who died during the occupation began. Two burials are currently known in Lyman. One of them has about 200 graves. According to preliminary information, these are single graves where civilians are buried,” wrote Kyrylenko on Telegram.

The liberation of Lyman, a key rail hub in the northern part of Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region, came just days after a sham referendum led by Russia.
