Australian forces will train Ukrainian soldiers in the UK
A contingent of up to 70 Australian Defense Force (ADF) personnel will join the British-led multinational training effort known as Operation INTEFLEX in winter. — ABC News reports.
Australia would also provide Ukraine with 30 more Bushmaster protected mobility vehicles, bringing to 90 the total number promised since Russia’s invasion.
“Australia has been unequivocal in its bipartisan support for Ukraine and its condemnation of President Putin. We will continue to stand up for freedom and democracy,” Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese claimed.
