Austria sends €20 million to Ukraine’s World Bank Trust Fund

Austria will contribute €20 million to the World Bank Trust Fund for Ukraine. After speaking with World Bank Vice President Anna Bjerde on December 3, 2022, Austrian Finance Minister Magnus Brunner made this statement. — Ukrinform reports with reference to APA.
“In this way, we demonstrate our solidarity with the population and make a sustainable contribution to stability in Europe,” Brunner said.
The Austrian contribution is part of the World Bank’s newly established Ukraine Recovery Trust Fund (URTF), a trust fund for the relief, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of Ukraine. The Trust Fund aims to support Ukraine in planning and implementing reconstruction measures as well as in supporting public services, including the energy sector.
