Austria to join mine clearance efforts in Ukraine

Austria is already contributing to humanitarian demining in Ukraine within the framework of the OSCE Support Program for Ukraine but is also considering other options for involvement in the demining of Ukrainian territories, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria Alexander Schallenberg said in an interview with Ukrinform.

“We quickly responded to the call of the Ukrainian government to provide support in humanitarian demining. Austria is already contributing to humanitarian demining in Ukraine within the framework of the OSCE’s Support Program for Ukraine,” he said.
