Bakhmut defenders: Ukraine returns 64 POWs from Russian captivity

Ukraine returned another 64 Ukrainian defenders from Russian captivity on Dec. 14, 2022. According to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, those are Ukrainian soldiers that fought in the east of Ukraine; in particular, they defended Bakhmut.

Also, Ukraine managed to return the American citizen Suedi Murekezi who was captured by Russian forces this summer.

Four more bodies of fallen Ukrainian defenders were also returned.
