Blind mother of the Ukrainian defender knits socks for the soldiers to keep them warm

The mother of a Ukrainian defender, though blind for more than ten years, knits socks for Ukrainian soldiers to keep them warm.
Maria Lukach from the Chernihiv region told Suspilne that her son Vasyl volunteered to defend Ukraine in April 2022, so she decided to help soldiers in the way she could. Despite her illness, Maria manages to knit a pair of socks for a day. Her husband helps to choose the colors of the threads.
