British singer Ellie Goulding praises Ukrainian people after her trip to Ukraine

British singer Ellie Goulding opened up about her journey to Kyiv, where she was invited by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska to speak at a summit in Kyiv.

In her post on Instagram, the singer outlined her experiences of meeting Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Olena and also praised the ‘bravery and resilience of the Ukrainian People.’

The British singer, who is a UN Environment Programme ambassador, also sang with Ukrainian musician Pianoboy a beautiful and powerful song in Ukrainian — “Oi, u luzi chervona kalyna” (“Oh, there is a red viburnum in the meadow”).
