Bulgaria has sufficient capability to repair Ukrainian military equipment

“The Ukrainian expectations are realistic, and Bulgaria has sufficient capability to help [repair Ukrainian military equipment],” Bulgarian Defense Minister Dragomir Zakov said, Bulgarian News Agency reported.

Commenting on a statement by President Rumen Radev that he did not want “Bulgarian arms killing people in Ukraine,” Zakov said such a dispute between the institutions is not right.

On May 4, 2022, the Bulgarian parliament voted to provide humanitarian, financial, and military-technical assistance to Ukraine, including the repair of Ukrainian military equipment at Bulgarian defense enterprises.
