Canada to provide Ukraine with another $500 million in additional military assistance

Canada will provide Ukraine with another $500 million in additional military assistance in addition to sanctions on another nearly two dozen Russians, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau said in a statement on November 14, 2022, amid the G20 summit.
“We, along with other members of the international community, will continue to use every tool at our disposal to hold Russia accountable for its brutal actions against Ukraine,” Trudeau said.
The additional funding adds to the $3.4 billion Canadian assistance to Kyiv so far for its defense against Russia’s full-scale invasion.
