Contemporary Ukrainian art triennial opens in Lithuania

Contemporary Ukrainian art triennial “Ukrainian Cross-Section 2022. Ukraine! Unmuted” opens at the Central Post Office in Lithuania’s Kaunas on November 4, 2022, LRT reported.

The triennial will feature contemporary artworks by Ukrainian artists from Dnipro, Kherson, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, and Donetsk.

“It is important to convey that the Ukrainian culture is an independent culture, worthy of attention and deeper exploration and not an addition to the ‘Russian culture,’ as the world once viewed it,” the triennial’s curator Volodymyr Kaufman said.

The triennial will be open until December 4, 2022.
