Czech Republic calls for the creation of an international tribunal over Russia’s crimes in Izium

The Czech Republic, which currently holds the presidency of the EU Council, called for the establishment of an international tribunal after Russian atrocities in Izium, Kharkiv region.

“Russia left behind mass graves of hundreds of shot and tortured people in the Izium area. In the 21st century, such attacks against the civilian population are unthinkable and abhorrent,” stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Lipavský, on Twitter.

“I call for the speedy establishment of a special international tribunal that will prosecute the crime of aggression,” he added.
