Damage to Ukraine’s infrastructure exceeds $10 billion

Attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure have caused over $10 billion in damages and left over 12 million people with no or limited electricity, while also disrupting water supply and heating systems, according to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the World Bank report.
The largest share of damage is in the power sector – close to $6.5 billion – while damage to nuclear plants reached about $770 million.
According to the report, damage to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure is estimated to be more than five times greater than in June 2022.
