DC Comics to introduce Ukrainian superhero for the first time
The first Ukrainian superhero — Pavlo “Core” Stupka — will appear in the comic book series “Stormwatch” from DC.
According to Bleeding Cool, the new Stormwatch team launches in this week’s Wildstorm 30th Anniversary One-Shot. Pavlo Stupka is a “Ukrainian living nuclear generator, with the power of flight, and while he is fifty-two, he looks sixteen years old.”
The new issue featuring Pavlo Stupka will be published on November 29, 2022.
