Death toll in Russian attack on Chasiv Yar rose to 43

The death toll from a Russian missile strike on an apartment building in Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, reached 43 as of 6 p.m. on July 12, 2022, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported. There is a 9-year-old child among those killed. Nine people were rescued.

According to the State Emergency Service, rescue workers have already cleared 420 tons of destroyed elements of the building. The work is ongoing.
