Dmytro Kozatsky (call sign Orest), who is in Russian captivity now, won gold and silver awards in different categories at a photo contest in Paris for a series of photos from Azovstal.

Dmytro Kozatsky won first place in the Press/War category and second place in the overall Press category. Dmytro Kozatsky published farewell photos from the Azovstal plant on May 20, 2022. “Thank you for the shelter, Azovstal — the place of my death and my life,” he wrote then. Since May, he has been in Russian captivity, and the conditions of his detention are unknown.
